A Lifelong Journey With Dogs

From childhood passion to over 42 years of professional training, this is the story that shaped Top Dog.

Our Story

I have a great enthusiasm and love that dogs bring when interacting with human beings.

When I started interacting with dogs at the age of 17, I began to see dogs as the most extraordinary animal species on the face of the earth and every time I had the opportunity to interact with a dog, I discovered that dogs are the animals that have the ability and potential to be a faithful companion who admires you and loves you unconditionally without limits. And that was what motivated me to seek more professional training to train my first two German shepherds, Killer and Laika, two impressive puppies who became one of the most ardent reasons of how to interact with them and in the desire to look every day for how to enjoy their companies and discover in that relationship, what would be the best quality of life.

It was then when at the age of 19 I enrolled in the Canine Training Club of my city, learning techniques and methods, which every day enriched my knowledge to properly educate who was my third dog Orion, a dog that achieved high results in his obedience, in such a way that by participating in all sporting events I was always rewarded as a highly qualified dog to obey. And since then I had the opportunity to be an assistant trainer in the same academy where I was trained, teaching and sharing with each of my classmates all my technical contribution of everything I had learned and what had already become my personal experiences.

At the moment of greatest enthusiasm for the achievement already achieved, I had the bitter experience of losing Orion to a disease from which he could not recover, but at the same time I could savor the victory that our team reached first national place for two consecutive years in different competitive modalities.

Currently with the diversity of dogs that I have been able to train over the years, I have been able to learn that the secret of the success of canine training is to be able to train ourselves with the right pedagogy and psychology, but also to be able to know the different individual and personal temperaments of each dog, to be able to know how to use a correct Methodological program, and to be able to enjoy the best quality of life, who has taken the recognition of being the best friend of man.
